The Queen mother of Dzodze ( Apetepe) Mama Agbaledzokpui II through her Foundation , Mama Agbaledzokpui II Foundation celebrated Christmas with over 700 Aged and Children on Boxing Day ; at Apetepe mini- market in Dzodze in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region. The act once again was in remembrance of the act of giving and the birth of Jesus Christ.

The parcels distributed comprised rice, oil, fish, tin tomatoes and drinks- assorted gifts from the foundation to support especially the needy at a colorful ceremony on Boxing Day.

Speaking at the brief , we’ll organiser ceremony , Mama Agbaledzopui II said the gesture is part of her social responsibilities that her Fundation undertakes every year and will continue in the coming years! She used the opportunity to call for unity among the people in the coming new year 2024. Mama Agbaledzopui II advised parents to take good care of their children expecially the girls and ensure everyone is in school .

The chairman for the occasion Torgbui Dey III, Chief of Dzodze-Afetefe in his remarks thanked Mama Agbaledzopui II for the kind gesture and her consistency. Torgbui encouraged the people to practice forgiveness and unity at all times and above all urged the people to pray for Mama Agbaledzopui and her Fundation to stay strong and keep growing and doing more for humanity.


Some of the beneficiaries couldn’t hide their joy as they thanked Mama Agbaledzopui II so much for the kind gesture .
The program was also graced by Professor Ahiatrogah and newly elected assembly member for Apetepe- Dafornyame- Totsyonyi Electoral Area : Hon Vincent Deanoo among other distinguished chiefs,queens and personalities.
