Along with FP-636, Fisher Price made another tribute to Adventure People as part of their 20th Anniversary Line. This time, it was a tribute to the red suited astronaut, now named Jett Cosmoblast. He comes packaged in a great box with a cover held in place by a small bit of velcro. This packaging is also a tribute to the first line of single-figure Imaginext figures.
This figure is sort of a mash up of tributes for Adventure People. The red suit astronaut was available with the Alpha Interceptor vehicle. However the helmet on this guy is more like the astronauts who came with the Alpha Probe, but they were in white. To muddy the waters more, there is also a yellow version of this Imaginext figure who was included in a blind bag series 22. This one is likely a nod to the astronaut figure that came with the Alpha Star vehicle. But a tribute is a tribute, and I am all here for it.
Jett comes with a clear dome that is painted white half way through, just like the original. The chest detailing is evocative of the original, but the helmet is a great tribute to those aliens, with the addition of the Alpha Probe logo molded into the front. The shoulders, wrists and legs move, although the legs move as one unit.
He comes packaged with a comically large pistol that I've seen included with other Imaginext figures before.
