At SDCC earlier this year NECA showed off some more of their TMNT X Universal Monsters crossover line with Leonardo as The Creature from The Black Lagoon and Raphael as The Wolf-Man. Just yesterday NECA put the Leonardo as The Creature from The Black Lagoon for pre-order.
I was excited to see these figures revealed at SDCC earlier this year, with both figures looking amazing. The detailing on the figure looks incredible. The blend of the Creature and Leonardo works very well with both creatures being amphibians. I love the net around his chest and the netted knee pads. The accessories are inspiring as well, I particularly love the harpoon katanas with one having a piranha on a blade. The pet turtle and the wrist bone blades look great as well and the wealth of interchangeable hands is fantastic.
The packaging also looks great as well, Ive always loved the art on the boxes for these releases as they look unique. Theres no release date yet, but I expect hell be released early next year and hopefully, its not too long before he pops up for pre-order here in the UK.
