An Integrated Community Approach to Healing in Recovery with Eva Christensen of The Retreat | A #MentalHealthMonday Recovery Education Session

In this presentation, Eva Christensen of The Retreat will discuss an integrated community approach to healing in recovery.

Research shows that significant improvements in mental health are experienced by individuals who receive community-based recovery care. Positive health impacts include feeling supported by peers, inspiration, motivation, accountability, overcoming social isolation, and knowing how to better access services. Eva of The Retreat will share her unique approach to recovery care rooted in community involvement and grounded in the idea that we are always stronger together.

During this engaging session of #MentalHealthMonday, Eva will:

Explore the concept of community & how it relates to a richer human experience Show how building & belonging to a community can strengthen the foundation of our recovery Discuss potential barriers & fears that may hinder community engagement Identify ways to overcome obstacles & embrace connection Examine the long-term benefits of integrating community & bi-directional support with clinical resources and how they collectively contribute to womens healing

Join us LIVE for a Q & A session following the presentation.
