Here is a quick guide to some of the most famous national parks in Tanzania. This will help you decide which one you wish to visit most.
 
1. Serengeti National Park: Located in northern Tanzania, the Serengeti is one of Africa’s most iconic national parks. It is renowned for its vast savannah plains, where you can witness the annual wildebeest migration, as well as spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and numerous other animals. It is the number one choice for most travelers coming for Safari.

2. Ngorongoro Conservation Area: This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for the Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera that serves as a natural enclosure for a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos. It’s also a great place to experience Maasai culture and witness their traditional way of life. The views are magical and the experience is out of this world. A must – do in Tanzania! 
 
3. Tarangire National Park: Located in northern Tanzania, Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants that roam the park.
