Barack Obama reveals his 2023 Favorite Music playlist

Every year, former President Barack Obama compiles various end of the year lists, in regards to his favorite, books, films and music. Moreover, he also puts out similar lists for the summer season. Meanwhile, Obama has just unveiled his list of books and films on Thursday, and has decided to put out his list of favorite songs of 2023, on social media, on Friday.

“Here are some of my favorite songs from this year,” said Obama on Twitter/X. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out.”

Among the artists included in Obama’s Favorite Music playlist are Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Victoria Monét, Kendrick Lamar, Tyla, Tems, Burna Boy, and much more. Monét and Tyla has massive breakout years, which were as a result of records such as “On My Mama” and “Water.” The Beyoncé record that was included was the “America Has A Problem” remix with Kendrick Lamar. Additional Afrobeats artists cracked the list as well, such as Burna Boy, Dave, and Davido.
