At the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, live and feeder cattle were higher in limited trade volumes, shrugging off Friday’s On Feed numbers and looking ahead to this week’s cash trade. February live cattle closed $1.87 higher at $170.40 and April lives closed $1.32 higher at $173.45. January feeder cattle closed $.80 higher at $223.55 and March feeder cattle closed $.17 higher at $224.57.
