Southwest Iowa farmer Duane Aistrope says the end of the year is an important time for producers.
“We’re trying to get all of our I’s dotted and our T’s crossed for tax purposes.”
He tells Brownfield, “We’re also going to be marketing a lot of grain. I haven’t forward contracted a whole bunch, I’ve got some on the books, but not a lot. We’re going to be moving an awful lot of grain between now and planting season.”
Aistrope says he’s also been ordering parts and making repairs to his equipment.
