An FFA advisor says his career and technical training program has been able to revive agricultural education in northern Michigan.
Tony Wood has been teaching agriscience at Clare-Gladwin Regional Education Service District since the program’s creation six years ago.
“There were ag science programs and FFA programs at local high schools that have disappeared over the years and that was one of the drives from the community to keep agricultural education in our schools and keep an FFA chapter active in our communities,” he shares.
