On 01.04.2023 new regulations appeared concerning the shipment of dangerous goods by air freight.

The FOCA has implemented the last partial revision of the Air Transport Ordinance to monitor the activities related to the air transport of dangerous goods as well as the exporting entities (on the documents) of these goods.

The entities mentioned as exporters on the transport documents will have to register with the FOCA, in order to be authorized to export dangerous goods. Freight forwarders and handling agents will systematically check the shipments if the shipper is authorized. If a shipper has not registered, it will not be possible to send the shipment.

ATM is currently authorized to transport dangerous goods, and continues to train its staff on the subject.
