As a young child growing up in Kingston, Jamaica, I always enjoyed Christmas Market. My memories of those times was of my parents taking me to the Christmas Markets on Christmas Day to get my presents. Then I’d come home, play with them and break them almost immediately. Yeah, I loved pulling them apart and figuring out how they worked.
So needless to say I love Christmas Markets. In Europe they are everywhere once December comes around, not so much in the U.S. I journeyed to two of them this year; Lincoln and Manchester, both in the U.K. They were both spectacular as you can see from below.
Manchester (MAN) – They have nine Markets. Fly into the Manchester airport, then take the train right into the city. You can find the list of Christmas Markets here.
