An EVA Air Boeing 777-300ER reached nearly 700 knots on a service to San Francisco.
Jetstreams can be hugely important for airlines, influencing both the aircraft's speed and, in turn, impacting the overall flight time. The Boeing 777-300ER was pushed to nearly 700 knots on Friday, helping to slash about 30 minutes off the average flight time.
