How a JAL Douglas DC-8 mistakenly landed at the wrong airport while flying between London and Tokyo.
Japan Air Lines flight 472 had two accidents in the 1970s. The first one took place on September 24, 1972, and took place at Juhu Aerodrome, in Mumbai, India. On that day, the crew commanding a Douglas DC-8-53, registration JA8013, landed in the wrong airport, leading to the writing off of the aircraft.
