Hilton launched a Buy Points Sale at up to 100% bonus with a tripled limit early this month, valid through the end of tomorrow (December 31, 2023).
Members can usually buy up to 80,000 points per calendar year, but the limit has now been tripled to 240,000 before the 100% bonus for a total of 480,000 points. You can buy more points during this sale if you have previously maxed a lower purchase limit.

I like sales that allow you to buy a significant enough number of points you can redeem for five nights at most of the Hilton’s sought-after and expensive resorts (you need some flexibility and preplanning to find availability).
Honors awards include all fees and taxes, including resorts and destination charges, often an additional 20-30% on top of the initial rate displayed. All elite members from Silver to Diamond get the fifth night free when redeeming points.
The best use of Hilton Honors points is when and where the paid rates are through the roof, such as the Maldives or French Polynesia properties.
