Los Angeles is gearing up for a day of generosity and community spirit as MAJOR. HOPE FOUNDATION, founded by the Grammy-nominated artist MAJOR., presents “A Major Day of Hope” on December 28, 2023. This special event is a celebration of generosity, community spirit, and the power of hope to make a positive impact on lives.
From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Los Angeles County will be infused with “Drops of Hope.” These random acts of kindness include free groceries, gas purchases, donations of socks and footwear, and opportunities for community cleanup and city beautification projects. The day kicks off in East LA, promising surprises and smiles to brighten the community’s day.
As the sun sets, the excitement continues with a Red Carpet event starting at 6:00 pm. The evening promises a live performance from MAJOR. HOPE band, creating a musical backdrop that echoes the foundation’s commitment to spreading hope through creativity. The evening will also feature a one-on-one conversation with Founder MAJOR. and a sneak peak of the MAJOR. HOPE Experience at local community shop located at Hilltop 4427 W. Slauson Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90043.
Faces of Hope Joining the Cause
The event boasts a star-studded lineup, with influential personalities collaborating to make a difference:
MAJOR. HOPE FOUNDATION Founder: MAJOR. The Grammy-nominated musician, actor, artist, and “Hope Dealer” will be at the heart of the event, spreading joy and hope throughout the day. Rosie Rivera: The Mexican American TV personality, author, businesswoman, and Christian minister will join forces to provide free groceries in East LA at Superior Market (3600 E Cesar Chavez Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90063). Khloe Thompson: Tween philanthropist and founder of Khloe Kares, Khloe Thompson, will lead efforts to distribute free socks and footwear in DTLA. Celebrities in Beverly Hills: Multiple celebrities will contribute to “Hope Drops” at 427 N Crescent Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.Making Hope Tangible Across Los Angeles
The day’s activities will be scattered across different parts of the city:
East LA: Superior Market will be the hub for free groceries, with Rosie Rivera leading the initiative. DTLA: Free socks and footwear distribution will take place in downtown LA with Khloe Thompson. Beverly Hills: “Hope Drops” will be orchestrated in Beverly Hills (427 N Crescent Dr) with the participation of multiple celebrities.
