New single “Ive Come To Realize” presents the dreamy psych-pop of Velvet Meadow, a project led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kris Heironimus.
Synth shimmers and a deeply grooving bass line traverse into a hazy vocal, singing “she’s got me in her heart-shaped box,” with a soaring intrigue. The vocals ascend alongside buzzing synth insertions just prior to the one-minute mark, taking this already-riveting psychedelic soundscape to the next level. “Let me show you, sweetheart, just give me one try,” the vocals plead further, emitting a sense of yearning amidst the steady production and title-touting punctuation. “Ive Come To Realize” is a stellar psych-forward success from Velvet Meadow.
