Ross Flora is a veteran singer, songwriter, and guitarist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2018 with the single “Poison & Wine”. That track introduced a multifaceted musician from Virginia who got his start in music as a child, singing with the church choir. At 12 years-old he was learning Eddie Van Halen riffs on his electric guitar, and by high school he was touring with bands up and down the Southern Atlantic coast.
For more than a decade, Ross Flora has called Nashville home. Immersed in the vibrant Music City scene, since his debut the prolific songwriter has released a string of popular singles, the 2022 full-length LP Shoulders of Giants, and now a brand new six-song EP titled As The Crow Flies. The record is a fluid mix of classic Southern styles, and that is by design.
