GRAND PRIZE WINNER Tyler Bryan
The Bucket List Shot – Glenn Highway, Alaska“Ever since coming to Alaska, I have dreamt about capturing this image. I have a fascination with ice caves. the colors they produce and the glow that seems to flow out of the ice is something that mesmerizes me. Then there’s the Aurora. Paint-strokes dancing in the night sky lighting up the world with her magical display. Do why not combine the two?! Well, much easier said than done. Research, work, gear, friends, talent, skill, weather, and a hell of a lot of luck all play a huge role in this undertaking. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely my favorite photo… at least so far!”
