This is Fruitycake. You know, I’ve had a very busy week of arguing. First with Duckie.
Then after I won the arguments with Duckie and finally laid down the law, a new toy showed up in the house. A horse with a big attitude and floppy legs and who keeps talking back.
Now. I’ve never been to that Texas place.
But Brickle has.
And he tells me it is a big place. A real big place.
And I have a real big bark. I have a real big attitude. I’m like Texas. But this horse? This new horse in town? He’s got an attitude too.
But he has half a chance at winning an argument with me. So I’ve named him Tex.
You know. Half of of Texas.
You may wonder what happened to Duckie after he was dropped in the ocean the other day. Don’t worry. No need to fear.
Boy Person saved him. But he’s a little shook up over it. So I’m letting him take a few days off from debating.
I am not sure what has come over me lately. But I feel the need to speak my mind. To be happy as an example for my family. To show them that there are many things to be happy about. More things that could fill that Texas place a billion times over.
Tex is new to the family. And he has a lot to learn about life with a Fruitycake like me. But I feel like we can come to an agreement. A way to work together, even entertain the masses with Duckie.
I don’t know yet what the future brings for our family and what is going to happen the next few months. We are sort of in a transition you could say. There’s a lot of pressure and stress on the persons. They are about to pop.
But I have a feeling that somehow we will figure it all out. A discussion may happen here or there. But our love is bigger than Texas. And bigger than Tex for sure.
