Diablo is a 5 year old male Cross-Breed. He was left to fend for himself following the death of his elderly owner and was often seen roaming the streets including busy roads before he was handed over to the local pound.
Diablo is a stunning boy, he is beautiful and loving, very friendly well behaved around people. He takes treats nicely from your hand and he greets you with a waggy tail.
When he sees his carers approaching his kennel he starts wagging his tail and pushes himself against the rails longing for human contact.
Diablo is an intelligent doggie too and a quick learner. He cooperates nicely with humans and is a lovely adaptable boy. He is a calm, patient boy who is exceptionally well-behaved when being groomed.
Diablo is very accepting of people and lets you do anything and everything to him. He walks nicely on the lead and although he is not always friendly when meeting other dogs on the lead, he is very easy to handle, responds to commands quickly and is well-biddable.
Overall, hes more of a peoples dog and does not show interest in connecting with other dogs.
Diablo would be best suited for a family where he is not left alone for long periods and there is time for his training.
Diablo will need to be given time to settle in his new home. He would be happiest with patient, loving owners who understand the needs of rescue dogs and appreciate his lovely nature.
Diablos spent the past 10 months in a pound and we feel it is undeserved as he is a wonderful dog who would do anything to please his humans.
Diablo would probably be happiest as the only dog in the family as he doesnt need doggie company, he feels happy enough around humans. He could, however, potentially live with a calm and friendly female dog.
Like all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adoptive family to become a happy, well-balanced dog. Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first-time owners, please.
Diablo is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA-approved paperwork. The Adoption is subject to a Home Check and Adoption fee.
