Loki is a 17 month old male Rhodesian Ridgeback. He needs a new home due to a relationship breakdown. He’s lived with children 5+ with no issues other than occasionally knocking them over!

He is good with some dogs but can be reactive to others as he’s been attacked previously. He’s currently living with a Labrador and they get on great. He’s not been around cats.

He does need a home where someone will be at home most of the time as he is anxious when left and will chew (although he has recently been crate trained and settles well in that). He is very strong on the lead if he spots something he wants to get to so needs further training on that.

He is scared of fireworks and can be anxious of loud noises or people suddenly appearing. He travels well and was really happy to have a fuss today. He needs a large breed experienced home. He’s neutered and chipped and we’ve asked the owner to get his vaccinations back up to date.

Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.

Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet. For some dogs additional meets may be required and potential adopters will be required to travel to the dogs location for all meets.
