Doctor Elise (or Surgeon Elise) was originally a South Korean web novel by yuin that was serialized on Kakaopage from 2015 to 2016. A webtoon adaptation by mini was serialized on the same site from 2017 to 2021. In Japan, the webtoon is serialized on Piccoma and published physically under KADOKAWA’s Flos Comic label.
Lezhin currently publishes the webtoon in English digitally. Its former English publisher Tappytoon, which used the title Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady With the Lamp, describes the plot as:
Dr. Song, the youngest professor at the leading College of Medicine in Korea, was a royal brat of a princess in her previous life. But just as she’s about to meet an untimely death over the ocean, she wakes up as Princess Elise once again?! Enlightened with the medical knowledge of a master surgeon, is this her chance to mend her past relationships and heal an ailing empire, or is fate sealed to repeat itself?
