Fans of The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga are in for a treat, as its official Twitter account announced that the new chapters of the manga will now be available in English simultaneously with the Japanese release.

However, to make this possible, the publisher Bushiroad has collaborated with AI translation service ‘Mantra’, which specializes in manga-translations. According to reports, Mantra will combine machine translation with professional proofreading in order to provide “fast, high-quality translations”.

Moreover, it was also revealed that they also plan to add simultaneous release of the manga in Simplified Chinese starting in May 2024, thereby ensuring that the readers in English and Chinese-speaking regions will enjoy the latest episodes simultaneously.

Ancient Magus’ Bride manga resumed serialization with a new arc “Shishigari” on Dec 21, 2023, in Comic Growl manga website.

The manga had gone on a hiatus in March 2023.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki.The series was first serialized in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade from Nov 30, 2013, to Sep 1, 2014, when the magazine ceased publication. The series was moved to the new Monthly Comic Garden magazine, while also continuing to be released on the Monthly Comic Blade website.

Bushiroad announced on Dec 1, 2023, that the manga transferred to Bushiroad Works’ Comic Growl manga website.

An anime television series adaptation aired from Oct 7, 2017, to March 24, 2018.

Season 2 of the anime aired in 2 cours, with cour 1 airing from April 6 to June 22, 2023, and the second cour from Oct 5 to Dec 21, 2023.
