The HJ Novels X (formerly Twitter) account has revealed that a TV anime adaptation of the Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! light novel series is in the works.
The light novel series, written by Makishima Suzuki and illustrated by Shimo Aono, released its first volume in 2018 and has nine volumes as of October 2023. J-Novel Club describes the plot as:
Kazuhiro Kitase’s main hobby is sleeping. Ever since he was young, he would enter a world within his dreams and go on exciting adventures. As he grew older, he became acquainted with a female Elf and the two have now been united through a Dragon’s brand! The light novels have inspired a manga by Yappen. The story was first written as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel, with the first chapter being published in 2017.
