It has been a long time coming...the writing of that first book. Years of thought about it, then one day getting down to business. It has always been a dream to write, and not just for myself, but for others. A contribution to the world and to a person's life. Books can reach the masses and travel to the ends of the earth. They can stimulate one's mind, actions, beliefs, and thoughts. Writing is an outlet for the author, and a way to convey all that is in them to those who want to learn. It is also an art that can be cultivated and treasured for years to come.

My first book is the start of a self-help series for young readers. It is entitled, "Tools to Stop Overthinking: A Teen Guide to Relief from Anxiety and Stress in an Age of Overwhelm". https://www.amazon.com/Tools-Stop-Ove...
For those that suffer from anxiety, overthinking is very common and can be disruptive. However, overthinking isn't always bad, in fact, it can be an asset if directed and focused. It can assist a person in assessing a course of action in life that is well thought out and studied. This book is a comprehensive look at overthinking and its pros and cons.

The second book continues the teen series and it entitled, "Building Self-Worth: A Teen Guide to a Strong Sense of Self, Purpose and Meaning". A great book to assist young readers in becoming comfortable with their authentic selves. It is a book about thriving in a world filled with comparison and criticism. It is also a guide into how to discover your own passions and life focus. https://www.amazon.com/Building-Self-...

My goal in writing is two-fold: 1) I want to reach people I was unable to reach in my current position doing therapy and 2) I love books and I love to write, so it is very self fulfilling. I truly hope you enjoy the books and you find them helpful for yourself or someone you care about.
