Here is the expected date for the launch of iPadOS 16.3 beta 2 for iPad and iOS 16.3 beta 2 for iPhone.
Christmas and New year of Apple is reaching a close so the attention is being drawn to what falls next. As the iOS 16.3 beta 1 was revealed shortly before Christmas, so when should we expect the next beta to release?
Even though the Christmas and New year festivities surely directed when it could give out the latest beta, Apple does not take too long for its beta releases.
Keeping this in mind, we can expect the iOS 16.3 beta 2 to come out in a couple of days–probably on January 3, Tuesday or January 4, Wednesday.
As far as what the update will offer is concerned, there is nothing to get too excited about at this stage unless the future betas don’t give out something new. Only one thing was actually added by the first beta, with Apple showing assistance for hardware security keys that can be used as an integral element of multifactor security systems to help you keep your Apple ID secure and protected.
The concept is easy– a hardware security key could be set up and then needed at any time you enter your Apple ID. This option is safer than the software keys created by the Apps such as Authy, and it’s also a more suitable option than the SMS codes that could be mailed as well.
While the need to take around the hardware gadget could also mean that the old software option will remain useful for the majority of the users.
