Condensation on the Home Exterior, Outside of the Window
If you see condensation on the outside of your window panes, it’s an indication that the air outside contains mild humidity and warmer then the temperature of your window glass. This means that the window is blocking any heat from transferring through the glass from inside the home. Condensation that appears on the outside of your window, is a strong indication that the window system itself has high insulating properties. This may be more visible in the early morning hours of the day.
Condensation on Inside of the Window
Too much moisture and the accumulation of water in your residence can effect your house and the well-being of your family. The presence of moisture creates an ideal environment for the proliferation of mould and mildew. Mould and mildew usually manifest on the walls near or beneath your windows, exhibiting as small black spots or a grey haze.
