Maricopa�s newest chicken shack, Slim Chickens, flew to the top of the pecking order in this week�s InMaricopa poll.
Nearly 600 readers voted in the poll, declaring Slim Chickens� sandwich as the best bird breast between two buns. The fast-food chicken specialists garnered 29% of the total reader votes.
The second highest reader-rated restaurant in the chicken sandwich contest was Culver�s with 21%.
Native Grill & Wings and Roots Eatery tied for third place in the poll at about 7% of readers polled each.
Wendy�s and Wingstop came in next at 5%.
The chicken sandwich poll had 19 restaurants from which to choose.
