The 2023 Early Signing Period is finally here! The Arizona Wildcats welcomed numerous new players to the team on Wednesday.
One such player is 3-star, Southern California cornerback Rahim Wright.

AZ Desert Swarm: What is your favorite hobby?
Rahim Wright: “Photography. When there’s time or anytime I go on vacation with the family, I’ll take pictures of anything that catches my eye.”
What is your favorite post-game meal?
“I’d say In-n-Out.”
What is your go-to pre-game hype song?
“Recuperate by Lud Foe or Dog Talk by OT7 Quanny.”
What is the fondest memory you have of your high school career?
“I think a memorable moment is when we won the Baseline League my junior year against Upland. That was my first season playing DB after switching from quarterback. It felt good to be able to win League for our school with my teammates; guys that I have known since youth football and a group of great coaches that believed in us all.”
What is your greatest strength on the field and what is the part of your game you’d like to work on?
“I bring a lot of versatility, being able to play multiple positions within the defense, explosiveness, and passion for the game. Currently, I am running track to improve on my speed and strength. I compete in long jump, triple jump, and relays.”
Which 2024 class member are you closest with?
“Within Arizona’s 2024 class, I am closest with Stacy Bey. We’ve known each other since youth and went to the same high school.”
What are your thoughts on Arizona’s 2023 season?
“It’s been a real good season. The team is on a six game win streak, with wins against top ranked programs and, if they win the bowl game, will finish the season with 10 wins. I think this season’s success will carry a lot of positive momentum going into the 2024 season..”
What are you looking forward to the most about being an Arizona Wildcat?
“I’m looking forward to being a part of a great program that is increasingly getting better. Being a part of the amazing community and game day atmosphere.”
