Soleman Fine Art / Zukunft Galerie, Miami’s premier Fine Art and Wearable Art Space, announces its anticipated gallery event and fine art exhibition during Art Basel Miami Beach Week December 8 – 10, 2023. The exhibition’s opening reception promises a cultural appeal. Adding a dynamic dimension to the event, Margarita will engage in a live painting session on Saturday, December 9th, transforming bespoke jackets into unique works of wearable art. Attendees will enjoy vibrant atmosphere created by international DJ Phiona, along with cocktails for an unforgettable evening at the gallery.
The fine art and wearable art space was founded by John Brandolino, the famed “Sole Man”, who has been in footwear 30 years, 12 years as VP of the brand Birkenstock, and 18 years in retail of fine footwear both in Key West and now Miami – launching the new space Soleman Fine Art / Zukunft Galerie coinciding with this year’s Miami Art Week. “Since April 2005, I was fortunate to build a great shoe business that afforded me the luxury of collecting art,” explained Brandolino.

“Of course, I started with Romero – my favorite – and progressed to include Peter Max, Goddard, Butirsky, Leficort, and the ever so talented iconic realist painter Adam Scott Rote, who I have teamed up with to launch the Hollywood Legacy Art Collection around the metal from the Hollywood sign at Art Basel 2021.” The iconic Hollywood Sign, which has graced the Hollywood Hills for a century, is getting a remarkable artistic tribute on its 100th anniversary. Renowned fine artist Adam Scott Rote is unveiling a series of stunning paintings featuring the original metal from the 1923 Hollywood Sign, creating a unique blend of history, art, and culture.
Adam Scott Rote is not your average artist; he holds the distinction of being the most collaborated fine artist in history, past, and present. His co-signed artwork boasts participation from Academy Award winners and legendary performers, including Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Cate Blanchett, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Doris Day, Harrison Ford, Burt Reynolds, Michelle Pfeiffer, Chris Hemsworth, Ewan McGregor, and many more.
The gallery also features artist Alex Melo, a painter from Rio de Janeiro whose vibrant and figurative masterpieces offer a glimpse into his unique reality. Melo’s subjects are adorned with large, plumed headdresses that become the focal point – some of dreamy flora and whimsy, others purely ornamental eye candy, some are entire cities or a hodgepodge of pop culture. The works are meaningful and provide the viewer with a deeper meaning to be found within the art.
Almir Reis is a Brazilian photographer and painter from São Paulo. Restless and creative, he loves testing new experiences in montages, collages, colors and reproductions, developing the image, achieving a sensitive result with authorial identity. Currently with his new works that mix painting and photography, the artist explores images and angles, adding technological and architectural resources causing unusual results – inventing and reinventing.
Margarita Howis is a creative rebel and an artist by heart with a background in architecture. A World citizen, Margarita has lived in 7 countries across the world, from Europe to China, and became a staunch cosmopolitan. International experience across countries and people has helped her dissolve borders and question the traditional notion of home, while shaping the sense of unity and building a strong conviction of sustainability demands both environmentally and socially. Margarita’s research and artistic exploration are rooted in the observation of cultural differences and the common human desire to break free from societal constraints. Margarita combines realism with experimental abstract motives in her work, utilizing various mediums, from traditional brush and acrylic, to sustainably sourced gold and silver.
