A competition aimed at promoting astrophotography in India has revealed an incredible collection of photos.

This second edition of the competition, which had exceptional entries across five categories—Solar System, Nightscape, Deep Sky, Best Women Astrophotographer, and Best Mobile Astrophotographer— has unveiled the winners of the “Aperture” Indian Astrophotographer of the Year 2023.

Only people of Indian descent, Indian citizens, or Indians living overseas were eligible to enter. Participants in the competition totaled 142, and they submitted an astounding 751 fascinating photographs.
