And like most doctors, he doesn’t want his system disrupted. I went to the appointment because I wanted to know if any of my medications, like methotrexate, have injured my liver. He said my liver has plenty of cells and it is functioning as it should. He ordered bloodwork that required 10 tubes of blood. He said he would call with the results. When I have a new doctor appointment, I find it works better for me if I write down my concerns. Otherwise, I might feel intimidated. I will forget my part. My agenda. I bring a short list in writing (Dr, Reiter likes this). Doctors are happy with short lists. They will share their information and see if you need to be sent on to another specialist.
