Singapore is expensive! So, we prioritized the free attractions to visit in the island during our mother-and-son trip.

Here are 5 practically free attractions you can enjoy in Singapore

1. East Coast Park. Set a play date for your kids and other friends at the East Coast Park’s sandy shores, bike paths, and excellent playgrounds. The park has many play options appropriate for different age groups and activities for adults. It’s a perfect spot for picnics and barbecues, too!

2. Marina Bay. Cover most of Singapore’s iconic spots by walking around Marina Bay. The area is famous for its Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Art Science Museum, Gardens by the Bay, and stunning skyline views. It is best to go around the area in the afternoon and stay for the light show at 8:00 p.m.

3. Sentosa Island. While Sentosa’s monorail fee is 4 Singapore dollars, its beaches and shuttle access are free. Go for a swim or try its other attractions (like the Luge) for a day of fun activities.

Changi Airport offers complimentary shuttle rides from all its terminals and back, making Jewel Changi Airport the perfect layover or pre-boarding escape!
