Last October 5, during Teacher's Day, the kids and I visited a few museums inside the Quezon City Circle. Kuya had no classes that day so we brought him for a field trip.

To make the most time and plan ahead, we initially went first to QCX Museum. But when we arrived around 9AM, the lady guard said it was closed for renovations. She then told us to visit the other museums instead, with the Presidential Car Museum a few steps away from QCX.

There are no entrance fees to get inside and explore the car museum. They do mention though that we may drop any donation for the museum should we choose to.

Reception area

There are no tour guides but the place is just on one level and easy to tour. It is prohibited to touch the cars.

1947 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine - President Manuel Roxas

1953 Chrysler Crown Imperial Limousine - President Elpidio Quirino

Aside from the Chrysler Crown Imperial Limousine, President Magsaysay also used this 1955 Cadillac Series 75-23 as a backup car. This supplementary car was used until President Ferdinand Marcos.

And now, the kids' favorite. If you have seen Disney Cars, you will be reminded of Ramon.

1959 Cadillac Sedan Deville - President Diosdado Macapagal

1980 Lincoln Continental Mark VI Signature Series - President Ferdinand Marcos

The cars of President Corazon Aquino, Fidel Ramos, and Gloria Arroyo are Mercedes Benz. The cars used by President Benigno Aquino III and President Rodrigo Duterte were not in the museum.

Other historic vehicles are in the museum like the cars of First Lady Imelda Marcos and General Douglas MacArthur, a 1943 Willys Jeep, a Kalesa that has a plate number with the year 1944, and the car of President Emilio Aguinaldo.

1924 Packard Single-6 Touring - President Emilio Aguinaldo

In the other hall of the museum is a small commemorative collection of the Quincentennial Celebration. In April 2021, apparently, we celebrated the 500th anniversary of the victory at Mactan.

5000 pesos Lapulapu commemorative banknote by the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. This is too big and would not fit your wallet, trust me.

I will post the other two museums we visited that day. Stay tuned!
