Mercury in Capricorn OOB MERCURY MOVES INTO CAPRICORN

Seriously?

OOB Mercury barges out of Sagittarius with the usual bluntness and awkwardness that often characterises his sojourn there and bounces into Capricorn. It’s OOB status started on November 15th and ends on December 15th.

After fun-loving Sagittarius this will certainly hit him with force, dampening his mood and deepening his thoughts and encouraging all of us to think, plan and talk in a much more serious fashion more so during the OOB phase which lasts for the first part of Mercury’s stay in Capricorn and entails a retrograde period starting on the 12th December (08°29’ Capricorn) and ending on the 01-02 January 2024 (22°10’ Sagittarius) with Mercury entering Aquarius on the 04-05 February 2024. The retrograde period will cover the festive season so watch out for glitches in plans during that time.

Mercury will make the following contacts:

02/12, 21/12R, 18/01 a sextile to Saturn (Capricorn-Pisces) at respectively 01°12, 02°22’R and 04’56’ – it will be much easier to keep a hold on our train of thoughts during these days.

07-08/12, 18/12R both planets, 19/01 a trine to Jupiter (Capricorn-Taurus, the first two with Jupiter R) at respectively 06°28’, 05°51’ and 06°13’ – you could get too optimistic but don’t overshare important info.

11/12 sextile Venus at 08°29’ (Capricorn-Scorpio) – it’s a little easier to express your thoughts today.

22-23/12 – Mercury re-enters Sagittarius

26/12, 08/01 a square to Neptune (Sagittarius-Pisces) at 25°00’ and 25°12’ – deciding what and who to believe might be difficult since news and information could be hazy or unclear.

02/02 a sextile to Neptune (Capricorn-Pisces) a sound planning of our dreams could be possible under this aspect.

27/12 conjunct Mars in Sagittarius (24°21’) and then 27/01 conjunct Mars in Capricorn (17°17’) – the first contact might lead to clumsiness and even falling the second could involve slow but steady progress.

13-14/01 Mercury re-enters Capricorn

28-29/01 trine Uranus at 19°05’ (Capricorn-Taurus) – communications might be exciting and fast-paced especially if they involve getting ahead in some sector of your life.

“A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices.” William James
