The Full Moon in Cancer (4 deg) occurs at 7:33 pm EST. This energetic peak is likely to be emotional because the Moon is in the sign it rules (therefore it's strong). Watch for waves of nostalgia or pronounced needs. Family issues (parent/child) will be themes, whether or not you're actually with your family.
Fortunately, this Moon receives some very nice aspects. Saturn in Pisces (2 deg) trines the Moon and Jupiter Rx in Taurus makes a sextile to it (and a trine to the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Sun). Saturn is support from rules that are easily integrated- there will be some restraint (maybe some things you must do) but this should feel reassuring rather than heavy. Someone in authority or with a parental vibe might be there for you. Jupiter Rx offers abundance- there will be reasons to feel good. Traditions can be gently expanded upon to make room for more/different and this will feel comforting (even luxurious) rather than excessive.
So, emotional but not necessarily difficult. I dare say this is nicely balanced with harmonious aspects to restrained (Saturn) and expansive (Jupiter) energies.
Also today, Chiron in Aries stations direct (15 deg) so we have the poignant addition of wounds/vulnerabilities that are being openly confronted. Sensitivities will be high and this could be about dealing with family/inherited pain. These things tend to bubble up over the holidays, and Chiron direct says now is the time to press forward with that touchy issue - the Full Moon is full light so nothing is hidden or held back . But again, the supportive aspects from Saturn and Jupiter suggest there will be reassurance to fall back on. You'll be able to handle whatever comes up and you may feel surprisingly calm.
Note that Saturn and Jupiter both symbolize elders - Saturn is the boss/parent and Jupiter the teacher/mentor. Together, they offer guidance. Or, they suggest you'll have authority over your feelings but not in a repressive way (you'll experience all the moods without being swamped by them).
