Get ready to kick some serious putt at Pixar Putt, a Disney Pixar animation themed pop up mini-golf course at Skyline Terrace, Federation Square.
Its open for a limited season from Saturday 30 December to Monday 29 January 2024.
Mini golf is a great activity for the school holidays as it caters for most age groups and abilities. There are shorter golf club putters for younger kids and sometimes whether you score a hole-in-one has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with luck!
Pixar Putt adds an extra element of fun into putt-putt golf because you can work your way around 9 or 18 Pixar-themed holes.
You will have fun playing guess that movie as the kids recognise characters and sets from Toy Story, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, A Bugs Life, Ratatouille, Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur and more.
The course has a good mix of easy and challenging holes.
Conquer the flying house in Up, where you get to winch your balls up in the air and have them all fall down the waterfall
. .the challenging kitchen set up from Ratatouille, shooting the ball through the target from Brave, and using the ball to play the guitar strings from Coco.
This years course features new holes inspired by Pixars most recent film, Elemental
It takes about 60 minutes for all to complete all 18 holes, depending on how many players there are in your group and whether youre waiting around for the people in front of you to finish.
I recommend that you pre-book Pixar Putt tickets in advance to secure a preferred Pixar Putt tee-off time. Course capacity is limited, so door sales will be possible, but subject only to session availability.
When the sun goes down, Pixar Putt After Dark sessions are available for adults 18+ from Thursday to Saturday nights from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
