As someone who gets my hair coloured regularly, keeping it healthy is crucial. To achieve this, I have an extensive collection of hair oils, nourishing conditioners and treatments.
However, I love a beauty bargain and when I came across the Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask it was a no-brainer buy at under $25 AUD.
Beyond its affordability, it’s also Japan’s number-one-selling hair mask and is said to be ‘like no other’ when it comes to delivering silky locks.
While not new to the beauty market, it went viral in 2023 thanks to the ‘glass hair trend‘. Social media users found mixing the Fino Mask with hair oil allows them to achieve ultra-glossy, shiny hair.
Quite honestly, the mask holds up on its own, so here’s everything you need to know about it, plus some before and after photos.

Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask Review
The Verdict:
The first photo was taken at the end of my wash week. So my hair was in good need of a cleanse thanks to the styling products, hair tools and sweat it endured throughout the week.
The second photo shows my blow-dried hair after just one use of the Fino hair mask. I could notice a remarkable difference in my hair. It’s noticeably shinier, softer and smoother. I found it worked well to de-tangle my hair and improve the damaged ends.
One of the biggest benefits was the shine – it leaves your hair with a glossy look and actually enhances the look of my highlights.
Overall, I found it to be one of the best hair masks I have ever used… and I am not alone.
Reviewers have noted how it ‘transformed’ their hair, another stating ‘the results were almost instantaneous’.
