Well the finish line (which is more like a start line) is now in sight and for a week or so things will be a little quieter in the office, if not in the garden. I am going to take that opportunity to recharge and get ready for what is already looking like a very significant year for Flexi Garden Frames. I will tell you more a little later, but it involves more with Mitre 10, Bunnings and a new elbow, which I won’t say too much about now.
I thought I would finish off the year by showing some photos of unusual and interesting frames customers have built, to get us all inspired by the possibilities of playing around with them.
Below from Eric in NSW – I would never have thought of setting a frame up like this, but it gives more space, air and light for the plants.
From Mitchell in WA – now that really is a long and narrow one, showing just how big and small at the same time the frames can be.
From Meryl in Vic, Trish in Tas. I get plenty of people asking me if there is a way to have a leg going straight down from the hub to create support in the centre of a long frame. The answer is ‘Yes there is,’ and here are two fascinating ways to achieve that.
From a hardworking and determined couple in NSW, here is a frame set up against a wall AND covering espaliered fruit trees, both things I am often asked if the frames can do.
This must be one of the biggest areas I have seen covered for a while, below from Jayne in SA, easy to get into, walk about in, tend and harvest, I could almost live in it.
The photo below is from Glenda in QLD, what a great way to build a squared off climbing frame.
And finally, the last photo is from Michelle in NSW – there is nothing I can say about that except WOW.
And wow it is for this year. Thank you all for your encouragement and support, I feel blessed to have such great customers, you are all very much valued. I will be back with more mid-January.
Have a great Christmas and a healthy and productive 2024 – I can’t believe that date, almost a quarter of the way through this ‘new’ century! Another WOW!
