Gioia is based in Melbourne and their team hunt for the gorgeous artworks, print, frame, and pack them, it’s all done in-house. Gioia pride themselves on keeping everything in house as they never want to compromise on the quality and service level. Most importantly, by doing this, Gioia are able to make their art prints as affordable as possible while keeping the best quality.

Whether it’s abstract, coastal, aboriginal, landscape, photography or figurative, Gioia has art to suit all styles and colour palettes.

The word ‘Gioia’ is Italian meaning ‘Joy’. The art and the food, the culture, the atmosphere - it is what inspires the team behind Gioia.

The technical Stuff:

To reproduce the artworks, Gioia use a technique that is known as giclée print (pronounced ‘zhee- clays’). Giclée is a French term meaning ‘to spray’ referring to how an inkjet printer works and how Giclée prints are usually produced.

The large format inkjet printers they use can both match colour and apply ink precisely, giving the artists high quality prints of their original arts. Apart from printer, the other factors that matter are image quality, ink, media (paper/canvas).

Gioia proudly make sure your art is made with the best equipments and materials by some printer-geeks. All the wall art prints are handmade by experienced framers in their Melbourne workshop using sustainably sourced hardwood timber moulding. Simply choose the art you like and the frame options, and Gioia will deliver the gallery quality frames to you, arrived ready to hang.
