One thing I love about handprint crafts is that they capture a moment that will never happen again.

Those little hands are only going to grow each year. This papercraft celebrates your child as they are right in this current moment.

Making a handprint Christmas each festive season could begin a new family tradition.

What you need to make a Handprint Christmas Tree Card:

Blue Paper Green Paper White Paper Yellow Paper Red Paper Scissors Glue Pen White Paint Coloured Dot Stickers Painting Plate

How to create a Handprint Christmas Tree Card:

To create the base for your card, fold the blue paper in half, short length to short length.

Using the scissors, cut out a gentle wavelength of white paper to form a snow mound for the bottom of the card.

Pour a puddle of white paint onto the painting plate to prepare for some fingerprinting.

Have your toddler dip their finger into the white paint before pressing it to the blue face of their card.

Remember that the handprint Christmas tree will be the hero in the middle of the card.

Encourage your toddler to dot paint around the edges of the card; otherwise, they will be hidden behind their handprint.

It is time to make their tree once they are satisfied with their snowfall.

Have your toddler spread their fingers out on the green piece of paper. Use the pen to outline their hand before cutting it out.
