Jacinta and Thomas had originally planned a big September wedding, however, 2020 had different ideas. We got together and did their engagement shoot (which you can see here) and at that point they were planning to postpone the wedding until the same time next year. Well as I’m sure you can already tell they couldn’t wait and on a picture perfect day in November, these two were wed.

Their love story began in the back of the school bus, but only as friends. Of course over time a romance bloomed and now you could not find a couple more suited to one another. The love, respect and adoration they have for one another is breathtaking and you can see what a tight knit couple they are.

The ceremony took place at the Malanda Falls Caravan Park and what a beautiful location is it. Backing on to rainforest which filtered the light and had it fall perfectly on the timber arbour which was elegantly crowned with a native floral arrangement. Emotions ran high throughout the entire day and the ceremony was no different, you could clearly see why they coudn’t wait another 12 months to be married.

After many congratuations by family and loved ones, we headed to Malanda Falls for photos and then on to the couple’s home on the hill. It was a perfect day and the rolling green hills of the Tablelands were begging to be photographed. On top of that it gave the newly weds and bridal party a chance to catch their breath and have a quite drink alone.

It was difficult to leave the setting sun, it was just so pretty, but the welcome that the new Mr and Mrs Godfrey received when they entered their reception at the Malanda Hotel more than made up for it.

I don’t think the day could have been more perfect. I adore the vast array of emotions that arise at weddings and this was no different. Having already spent time with Jacinta and Thomas during their engagement session it was even more exciting to be apart of their wedding and hear more about them from those closest to them, Anyway that’s enough from me, check it out for yourself, my favourite part is Jacinta’s first look with her Dad.

To Mr + Mrs Godfrey
Thank you for inviting me back to Malanda, it more than made up for it’s crappy weather and put on a beautiful show for your most important day. Seeing how much you love one another and how loved you both are, is a testament to your wonderful personality.

I wish you the best for your future together and know that having your best friend by your side will serve you well. You have each other’s back and even though there will be tough times your love will provail.

xx
