Throughout the Boxing Day Test, free heart tests are available from day one to four as part of the Shane Warne Legacy.

In last year's event, fans paid tribute to Warne by pausing at 3:50pm with fans tipping their hat in honour of the spin bowling great, with the same occurring in the 2023 Test.

Kerry O'Keeffe, Ian Smith and Harsha Bhogle were all present in the Fox Cricket commentary box, captured tipping their hats at 3:50pm.

"It marks a significant gesture from Shane Warne Legacy, get your heart tested," Smith said.

"Adam Gilchrist did it today, absolutely spot on perfect."

O'Keeffe: "How many times over the years had we seen him doff that white floppy as he walked off?"

Later in commentary, Adam Gilchrist described the crowd's support for the tribute as "really good".

Smith added the gesture will continue on throughout the Test match. ?
