When it comes to the passion for motorcycles and cars, age is just a number. A few days ago, an old video on the internet resurfaced, and it proved exactly this. The video showed the popular spiritual and yoga gurus – Sadhguru and Baba Ramdev – riding on a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled superbike at Isha Foundation. Both of the old-age gurus were seen riding around the campus of Isha Foundation without any riding gear, enjoying their time on the bike with laughter and enthusiasm.
Sadhguru and Baba Ramdev on a Ducati
The video of this motorcycle ride has been shared by Sadhguru on their official channel on YouTube. It starts off with Sadhguru asking Baba Ramdev, another one of the most popular Yoga instructors and gurus in India and the brand ambassador of Patanjali Ayurveda, about how the bike ride felt. Following this, the video shows Sadhguru taking the front seat on a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled motorcycle, and Baba Ramdev sitting on the pillion seat with him.
Both of the gurus then started their ride and were being followed by policemen, their personal security guards, and other associates of both gurus. They were seen riding around inside the campus of Isha Foundation; however, both gurus were seen riding the Ducati superbike without any riding gear. Neither of them was wearing any helmet, jacket, or riding shoes. Finally, after riding for some time, they reached a building and went inside. The video then comes back to the first clip where Sadhguru asks Baba Ramdev how he felt about the bike ride and asks for his experience, on which he later elaborated.
Sadhguru is an avid motorcycle enthusiast
Over the last few years, Sadhguru has been seen riding a number of different high-end superbikes. He has been seen riding these bikes for various campaigns. He was once seen riding a customized Honda VFR X touring bike for the “Cauvery Calling” campaign. He was followed by a number of other riders on superbikes, including Kawasaki Ninja 1000, Ducati Diavel, Honda African Twin, Ducati Multistrada, Suzuki V-Strom, and Triumph Rocket III.
Recently, Baba Ramdev was also seen riding around the Buddha International Circuit (BIC) for the inaugural lap of the MotoGP Bharat, the first Indian MotoGP race. Sadhguru was seen riding a BMW K 1600 GT, which is one of the most luxurious and heaviest motorcycles currently available in India and is priced at Rs 17 lakh. It comes powered by a 1.6-liter, 6-cylinder, in-line engine, capable of producing 160 PS of maximum power and 174 Nm of peak torque. Sadhguru has also been seen riding around on a BMW R1200 GS.
Baba Ramdev also likes bikes
A few years ago, a video of Baba Ramdev also riding a motorcycle was shared on YouTube. In this video, Baba Ramdev was seen riding a Hero Impulse Adventure motorcycle around his campus. This bike belonged to one of his followers, and he was seen sitting on the pillion seat while Baba Ramdev was riding the bike. After the ride, Baba Ramdev was heard saying, “I have ridden a bike after 15-20 years. I got confused by the gearing of the bike.”
