A lot of Mahindra Scorpio-N buyers believe that the Z4 variant, which is the mid-spec variant of this SUV, is the best value for money. This is because it serves as a good base car to add necessary upgrades on a budget and convert it into a top-of-the-line Z8L variant. Recently, a video of one such conversion from Z4 to Z8L has been shared on YouTube by Vig Auto Accessories.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 to Z8L

In this particular conversion, the presenter mentions that they have tried to do something unique. He explains that, unlike their other conversion projects of Scorpio-N, they have painted the lower bumpers on the front and rear, along with the side claddings, in high gloss black. Following this, he adds that because of this unique touch, they have named it the Scorpio-N Mafia Edition.

Front upgrades

Starting at the front, the owner of the shop states that they have changed a number of things. The first thing he points out is the replacement of standard halogen-based headlights with LED headlights from the Z8L model. These lights are a direct plug-and-play fitment, elaborates the presenter. He also states that they come with dynamic swipe turn indicators. Apart from this, the original fog lights with LED DRLs have also been added.

The presenter also highlights that they have customized the front grille as well. For this, they have painted the inner slats in high gloss black. In addition, they have also added original chrome vertical slats and replaced the top portion of the grille. He then shows the lower front bumper with the high gloss black paint on what would come in matte black from the factory.

Side profile

Next up, he shows the side profile of the car, which has been given the signature 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that come with the Z8L variant. Apart from these, the modifications on the side include genuine Mahindra ORVMs with turn indicators, lower window garnishes in chrome, rear glass C-Chrome, and genuine Mahindra window visors.

Rear

The presenter squats down to show the newly painted lower skirts and side claddings and also mentions that they have added silver footstep as well. Finally, he shows the rear profile of the car, which he mentions has also been given the same high gloss black treatment. Apart from this, the car also gets genuine Mahindra chrome elements in the rear bumper as well.

Interior modifications

Moving on, the presenter opens the doors of this particular Scorpio-N Z4 to reveal its fully customized interior. He starts by showing door panels of the car which have been wrapped in white leather. He adds that the inner door handles and door pull levers have been painted in silver. Additionally, he mentions that the window control panels and inner door handle covers have been painted in high gloss black. Apart from this, the door panels have also been given active ambient lighting.

Following this, he shows the newly added white perforated leather seat covers. He adds that the car has also been given a high gloss black-painted center console. Lastly, he shows the main highlight of this interior, which is the D-Cut leather-wrapped steering wheel. Apart from this, at the end, he also adds that the car will also be given chrome door handles from the top spec variant.
