This Chevy Corvette Z06 has been driven 7,000 miles and looks as good as new
When it comes to home-grown American muscle, few cars get us quite as excited as the C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Sure, it may not have the same high-revving, motorsport-derived naturally-aspirated V8 of the current C8 Z06 but it remains an awesome performance car and this example could be yours.
This Z06 has been listed up for auction through Bring a Trailer and while it is not the brightest nor the most in-your-face C7 Z06 out there, it has been specced in such a way that it should appeal to a broad array of prospective customers. The car had been offered on the popular auction site in September and attracted a highest bid of $67,000 but failed to trade hands.

Adorning the exterior of the car is a lovely shade known as Shark Gray Metallic and it has also been equipped with the Z07 Ultimate Performance Package. This package, costing $7,999 from the factory, adds Brembo carbon ceramic brake discs, Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires, and adjustable front and rear aero components. It is also rocking the Z07 suspension with Magnetic Ride Control and the black 19- and 20-inch wheels have been contrasted by red brake calipers.
A look inside the cabin shows the car has heated and ventilated power-adjustable bucket seats clad in Adrenaline Red leather that’s probably a little too bright for some shoppers but is bound to appeal to others.
The Bring-a-Trailer listing adds the car has been driven just ~7,000 miles (~11,200 km) since new, meaning the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with its 650 hp and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) has only just started to hit its stride. Coupled with the V8 is an eight-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels through an electronic limited-slip differential.
