Gone are the days when politicians in India used to live a humble life. While many of them still continue to live their lives in a humble manner, there are people who choose to live otherwise. Many of them have successful businesses, and that reflects in their lifestyle too. Pramod Madhwaraj, a popular politician and businessman from Karnataka, is one such person. He recently got himself a brand-new BMW XM luxury SUV worth Rs 3.3 crore delivered to his home.

The video of Mr. Madhwaraj taking delivery of his new SUV was shared by the politician on his Facebook page. In this video, we see the politician standing next to his brand-new SUV with the dealership staff. The SUV was delivered to him at his residence. This is actually a facility that many premium and expensive car brands offer these days. Prominent personalities like movie actors opt for this feature to avoid attracting too much attention from the public.

The car delivered to Pramod Madhwaraj is actually a very special vehicle. It is currently the most expensive BMW SUV in the market and also the first-ever M model from BMW to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The XM is the second standalone product under the M brand after the legendary M1. BMW launched the XM officially in India last year.

Starting with the exterior design, the BMW XM gets a very large Kidney grille with twin LED headlamps and LED DRLs just above it. The kidney grille at the front actually has an illumination function just like we see in many other BMW models. The front bumper looks sharp and edgy, giving it an extremely sporty look. The large air intake at the front also contributes to this appearance. It is an extremely long SUV, and the side profile of the car would reveal its resemblance to the BMW iX electric SUV. The car comes with 22-inch M wheels, with the option for customers to upgrade to 23-inch units. The design of the wheels is exclusive to the XM.

It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the SUV has a range of 88 km in EV mode. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds and can be used in both 2WD and 4WD modes.
