The South Korean automotive giant Hyundai Motor India seems to be in the final stage of the development of the new Creta facelift. Recently, another test mule of this SUV was spotted testing in the wild, and it reveals new information about this much-anticipated compact SUV. From the recent spy shot, it has been noted that the company will be offering the Creta facelift with a set of new rectangular LED taillights with a connected LED light bar in the middle. We have seen this connected LED taillight design on the Venue facelift.

Creta Facelift to Get Connected LED Taillights
These latest spy shots of the Hyundai Creta facelift have been shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Nikhil Gohil on their page. In the pictures, it can be noted that the Creta facelift test mule, which was about to make a turn on a hilly road. Gohil has mentioned that this particular test mule was spotted in Shimla. One of the biggest revelations from this spy shot that was noted was that the new Creta facelift will come equipped with a connected LED taillight.
Another important thing that has already been noted is that the SUV will come with new H-shaped LED taillights. These lights will be rectangular in shape and look very similar to the newly launched micro-SUV Exter and Hyundai’s global flagship SUV, the Santa Fe. Most likely, the car will also get a brand-new rear bumper as part of the list of updates that this new forthcoming SUV will be offered with.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Design Updates

In terms of changes on the outside, the SUV will come equipped with a brand-new front fascia inspired by the Hyundai Palisade, which comes with a giant parametric grille. The headlights this time around will be vertically stacked. In addition, the entire front bumper will also be changed. The side profile of the new Creta facelift will retain the outgoing model’s silhouette. However, it will be getting a brand new alloy wheel set.
Interior Updates
Coming to the interior updates of this forthcoming segment leader SUV, it has been reported that the company will offer two different interior options. The naturally aspirated petrol and diesel variants will be offered with the same black and beige interior. However, the 1.5-litre variant will get an all-black upholstery on the inside. As of yet, no clear pictures of the new dashboard layout have been shared.
However, it is believed that the car might come equipped with a pair of 10.25-inch screens, just like its cousin Kia Seltos facelift. Another report has suggested that the Creta facelift will most likely be offered with ADAS features. It will come equipped with a radar as well as a camera on the front windshield. It will also be getting a 360-degree reverse camera.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Drivetrain
As for the powertrain side of things, most likely, the company will continue to offer the same engines as the outgoing model. These options include a 1.5-liter diesel and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. The diesel engine makes around 114 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the naturally aspirated petrol engine makes around 113 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. Currently, the company does not offer a turbocharged petrol engine; however, it could offer the new 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engine that is being offered with the Alcazar and the Kia Seltos. This engine produces a maximum of 160 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
