It’s no secret that Mahindra is working on a facelifted version of the XUV300 compact SUV, which is one of the most anticipated products from the Indian SUV maker for 2024, besides the five-door Thar. The new version of the Mahindra XUV300, which is reported to have exterior and interior tweaks, is already undergoing trial runs on the Indian roads. A recent sighting of the test mule of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift revealed its refreshed interior layout.

The refreshed interior of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift as spotted by Rushlane, as seen in the pictures floating on the internet, showcases the revised centre console of the cabin. The prime highlight of the refreshed cabin is the new floating touchscreen infotainment system, which is believed to be a 10.25-inch screen. This new screen makes the cabin look much fresher than that of the current model, which has an outdated 7-inch screen for the infotainment system.

The new Mahindra XUV300 facelift is also reported to come with a first-in-segment panoramic sunroof, a full-TFT instrument console and revised dual-tone black and beige upholstery. The previous sightings of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift also revealed that the upcoming compact SUV will feature significant tweaks to the front and rear profiles, which will be inspired by the design of the larger-sized XUV700 and will get connected LED lights.

The updated XUV300 will continue to get 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. While the 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard, a new 6-speed torque converter is expected to replace the cost-effective 6-speed AMT for a more premium automatic driving experience.

The much-awaited Mahindra Thar 5-Door is generating immense excitement across the country. This anticipated model has been spotted undergoing testing at various locations throughout India, including the most recent sightings. Currently, the Thar 3-Door is offered with 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engine options in its four-wheel-drive variants. Following closely in the line of highly anticipated Mahindra SUVs is the upcoming all-electric variant of the XUV700, named the XUV.e8. This new flagship electric SUV from Mahindra will share the platform with the XUV700 but will sport distinctive design elements on both the front and rear ends. Positioned as the premier SUV in Mahindra’s array of electric vehicles in India, the XUV.e8 is set to make a significant mark in the lineup.
