Abhishek ‘Monty’ Agarwal, aged 33, became the youngest owner of a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in India. As the founder of Purple Style Labs, one of India’s largest fashion houses, Abhishek took delivery of the flagship luxury saloon in Mumbai.

Abhishek’s Maybach S 680 bears a Bharat registration plate, which allows for seamless travel throughout the states of India without the need to change the registration plate. The car also features some additional luxury upgrades, a common choice among Mercedes-Maybach owners.
Abhishek, who is the founder of one of India’s biggest fashion houses Purple Style Labs, took the delivery of the flagship luxury saloon in Mumbai.
The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, based on the standard S-Class, boasts an elongated wheelbase, providing extra space for rear passengers. With a length of nearly 5.5 meters, it is one of the longest cars on the market. Equipped with advanced and unique features, the Maybach S-Class includes a “doormen” function that allows rear passengers to close the door with a simple hand gesture. The driver also has a button to operate the rear doors.
The rear seat of the Mercedes-Maybach offers a range of luxurious features. Passengers can adjust the seats to recline between 19 and 44 degrees, and there is a retractable leg rest as well. Additional features include a multi-contour seat massager, heated armrests, seat ventilation, and a calf massager. The executive seating option adds wooden trims, a full-length center console, and deployable trays. It also includes a champagne cooler and custom solid metal flutes.
In terms of technology, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class offers level 2 autonomous driving, including evasive steering assist and active brake assist with cross-traffic function. The cabin is adorned with Nappa leather.
Under the hood, the new Mercedes-Maybach S580 is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine with a 48-volt EQ Boost mild-hybrid system. It produces an impressive 496 Bhp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. The Mercedes-Maybach S680, on the other hand, features a massive 6.0-liter V12 engine, delivering a maximum power of 604 Bhp and a peak torque of 900 Nm. Both models are equipped with a four-wheel-drive system and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Currently, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is positioned as the flagship sedan from Mercedes-Benz in India, and it takes on expensive full-size luxury sedans like Bentley Flying Spur and Rolls-Royce Ghost. The prices for Mercedes-Maybach S-Class start at Rs 3.80 crore, which goes up after selecting the optional extras.
